There's lazy — and then there's City Hall.
The main clock in the grand rotunda of City Hall and at least three other building timepieces were an hour behind Sunday, a day after the infamously tardy Mayor de Blasio was heckled at a St. Patrick's Day parade for arriving a half-hour late.
The clocks weren't turned ahead for Daylight Savings Time, which started at 2 a.m. Sunday, because city employees were working on other clocks around town, according to city clock master Marvin Schneider.
But while Schneider said the electric City Hall clocks were supposed to have been stopped by electricians so they could be re-started at the correct time Monday, at least two were still running Sunday evening — and still an hour behind.
Fortunately, de Blasio didn't have anything on his public schedule to be late to Sunday.
He angered Rockaway residents by showing up tardy for their parade Saturday. He also has been criticized for being late to events such as a Queens memorial service for families of plane-crash victims and a Department of Corrections graduation.
Schneider — who said he gave city workers specific instructions about how to reset the clocks — dismissed the idea that they could actually hinder Hizzoner.
"I don't think these clocks influence the mayor,'' Schneider said. "The mayor has his own issues. I don't think these clocks are to blame."
