A firefighter is suing the city, Con Ed and the landlord of the East Harlem building that was destroyed in a fatal explosion caused by a gas leak last March.
The FDNY's Dale Scott says he was injured while responding to the blast at 1646 Park Ave.
The Manhattan civil suit says the married, 44-year-old Port Washington, LI, resident fell when debris collapsed beneath him.
His injuries are not detailed in the complaint and his attorney declined to comment.
Emergency responders have a higher burden when suing for on-the-job injuries.
Scott will have to show that one or more of the defendants violated federal, state or local laws in order to win his case.
At least seven other victims are suing over the explosion, which left eight people dead.
Scott and his wife, Elizabeth Shackel-Scott, are suing for unspecified damages.
A spokesman for the city said, "We will review the lawsuit."
A Con Ed spokesman said, "We'll respond to the filing in court once we receive it."
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the cause of the explosion.
Con Edison is also checking thousands of miles of gas lines in its system, which is more than 130 years old.
