Police released two surveillance videos of persons of interest taken from the Cypress Hill Houses after the sniper shooting of rookie cop Jamil Sarwar on the fourth of July.

In the first video taken at 10:42 p.m. outside of 1260 Sutter Avenue, three men are seen walking out toward something when one of them in dark clothes raises his arm and points.

All three men then suddenly run back from where they came. It was unclear if the man was holding a gun in his raised arm, cops said.

An officer in an elevated surveillance tower that night saw two people shooting at each other on Sutter Avenue.

In the second video taken at 10:47 p.m. in the courtyard of 485 Fountain Avenue, a man can be seen running out of the building and through the courtyard. This building is down the block from the building the building where officer Sarwar and his partner, Officer Javier Solis, had taken cover and realized Sarwar was shot in the leg.
