Two coldhearted cons cheated an 81-year-old Astoria woman out of $3,000, authorities said Sunday. The swindlers approached the woman outside her 21st Street home at 8:45 a.m. Dec. 1, and claimed to have found tens of thousands of dollars, police said. The duo offered to give the senior a $70,000 cut of the phony windfall if she could come up with $3,000 to show to a bank, according to cops. Investigators said the victim handed over the $3,000, and, of course, has yet to hear back from the fraudsters. The female scammer is believed to be about 35, 5-foot-5, and 160 pounds. Her male accomplice, also about 35, stands 6 feet tall and weighs about 200 pounds.
A man inappropriately touched a 12-year-old girl on a Jamaica Estates street, police said Sunday. The perv walked up behind the young victim at 195th Street and Hillside Avenue at 8 a.m. Saturday, and pulled her body toward him, according to cops. Investigators said the man then made a sexual comment about the youngster. The girl was able to pull herself free and run off. She was not injured. The man is believed to be about 20 years old. Authorities on Sunday released a surveillance image of a man wanted for robbing a Ridgewood bank.
The thief walked into the Chase branch on Myrtle Avenue near 60th Lane just after 2:30 p.m. Saturday, and demanded money from a teller, according to cops. Police said the crook claimed he was armed, but never displayed a weapon. The teller handed over an undetermined sum of money and the bandit ran off, authorities said. He is believed to be about 6 feet tall and 190 pounds. Two trigger-happy thugs shot a man in the stomach during a home invasion in Far Rockaway, police said Sunday. One of the ski-masked goons shot the 38-year-old victim inside his home on Mott Avenue near McBride Street just before 5:40 p.m. Saturday, cops said. It doesn't appear anything was stolen from the home, the sources added. The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition, and authorities said he is expected to survive.

A 14-year-old boy was shot in the arm Sunday during a dispute on an Olinville street corner, law-enforcement sources said. A round struck the teen at White Plains Road and East 213th Street at around 10 a.m., cops said.
The boy was rushed by EMS to Jacobi Hospital and is expected to recover, officials said. A suspect was taken into custody for questioning, police said. However, the gun was passed off to a woman who hopped in a gray Nissan Sentra and is still on the lam, cops said.
Two men were shot Sunday outside a nightclub in Mott Haven after a fight began inside, cops said. The argument started in Club Miami on Bruckner Boulevard near Alexander Avenue at 3:30 a.m., and soon spilled out onto the street, police said. There, a 26-year-old victim was shot in both legs and a 30-year-old was shot in the thigh, cops said. Despite their wounds, the men were able to transport themselves to Harlem Hospital in Manhattan, where each was listed in stable condition. The shooter took off in a red Jeep Cherokee with the driver's side window blown out, driving across the Third Avenue Bridge into Manhattan, police said. The thug had a tattoo on the right side of his neck and was wearing black jeans, a gray sweater, white sneakers and a hat, cops said.

A man was stabbed to death inside a Bushwick apartment building, cops said Sunday. Police discovered the man, 51, with a wound to the torso inside the building on Hart Street near Bushwick Avenue at 10:20 p.m. Saturday, police said. He was later pronounced dead at Wyckoff Hospital, they said.
