One-hit wonder Rico Suave is set to star in a new VH1 reality show, Variety reports.
The latin singer/rapper (real name: Gerardo Mejía) spent a brief time on the charts in the early 1990s with his hit single "Rico Suave," about his lady-loving lifestyle.
He then went on to become a music executive and raise a family, which is the focus of the reality series, tentatively titled "Suave Says."
The show will follow Mejía in his home life with beauty queen wife Kathy, son Jaden, daughters Bianca and Nadia and niece Lexi as he struggles to pass the musical torch to his children.
VH1 has greenlit 10 half-hour episodes of "Suave Says" to premiere later this year, with Edward Paige and Liane Su executive producing for Blank Paige Prods.
