He's baaaack!
Billionaire investor and corporate agitator Carl Icahn said he will be sending an "open letter" to Apple CEO Tim Cook on Thursday.
"Believe it will be interesting," the septuagenarian wrote in a tweet on Wednesday.
Icahn and Cook have clashed before. Last year, Icahn tried unsuccessfully to convince Apple to increase its $100 billion buyback program by 50 percent.
The plan failed when shareholders, led by New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer, called the proposal "too risky and too short-sighted."
After Icahn bowed out, Cook raised the buyback program by $30 billion — and increased the dividend by 8 percent.
The stock is up over 25 percent this year, closing Wednesday at $100.80, up 2.1 percent.
Apple announced its first new product category, a smartwatch, in September. The watch is scheduled to go on sale next year.
