Brooklyn pub bans kids after being swamped by families

A trendy bar in Brooklyn has banned kids from the establishment after it was swamped with stroller moms and their rowdy toddlers.

The Hot Bird in Clinton Hill posted a sign reading "Children are not allowed," after hip parents kept taking their babies to the bar.

"There was a time when there were too many people bringing small children here," one bartender said.

"It became an issue. So we put up the sign."

An enraged parent took to a mom message board Saturday to report being booted with her 15-month-old son.

"Hotbird no longer allows babies/toddlers/kids," the mom wrote. "So I wanted to spread the word, before you go and get kicked out."

The mom said that after being told to beat it, she and her son were asked to scram again five minutes later because they "weren't leaving fast enough!"

Patrons of the bar Tuesday night were happy that the rugrats were gone.

"Kids shouldn't be running around where people are trying to drink and hook up," said Sophia Black, 27.
