Five men who pioneered reality television are geting back together next month on Bravo.
The cast of "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy" will sit down with "Watch What Happens" host Andy Cohen for "Queer Eye Reunion: 10 Years Later."
Debuting in July 2003, the show introduced a quintet of catty makeover artists who saw it as their mission to help straight guys dress better, have something to talk about on a date, get their home decor beyond the man cave aesthetic and learn about fine dining. Carson Kressley handled the clothes ("I'm doing the Lord's work," he said famously), Thom Filicia took care of the pillows and duvet covers, Ted Allen picked out the wines and foie gras, Kyan Douglas was on grooming duty and Jai Rodriguez was a self-proclaimed "culture vulture."
"Queer Eye" won a 2004 Emmy for Outstanding Reality Program and made the cast into minor celebrities.
Kressley appeared on "Dancing With The Stars" and produced a reality series called "How to Look Good Naked." Allen is host of the Food Network's competition show "Chopped" and has been a judge on "Iron Chef America" and "The Next Food Network Star. " Filicia has his own design business and is opening a new store in the Design and Decorators building, and Rodriguez has had some acting roles on series such as "Bones" and "How I Met Your Mother." Douglas has appeared as fashion expert on Rachael Ray's ABC morning show.
