Brooklyn

* A pregnant woman got whipped into a furious rage by her little brother and attacked him with dessert toppings in East New York, authorities said.

Crystal Rosario, 25, allegedly smashed her 11-year-old brother in the face with a can of whipped cream and left him bloodied after an argument inside their sixth-floor apartment on Loring Avenue near Eldert Lane at around 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, law-enforcement sources said.

Their mother wasn't home at the time, so the boy called cops, sources said. The big sister ended up in cuffs on assault, menacing and weapons-possession charges, the sources said.

The boy suffered a cut under his right eye, but did not require medical treatment, the sources said.

* A man was found dead inside a group home in Brooklyn Heights yesterday, and law-enforcement sources said police have a suspect in custody.

Cops were called to the Institute for Community Living for an assault in progress at around 6:30 a.m. and found the 45-year-old victim with head trauma, police said.

The victim was rushed from the home at 50 Nevins St. to Long Island College Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The victim's name has not been released. The man in custody had not been charged as of yesterday.

* She would have been better off just taking the ticket.

A corrections officer pitched a fit when cops pulled her over for talking on her cellphone in Flatlands — and ended up with a slew of additional charges, law-enforcement sources said.

Sandra Brewster, 46, was yakking while driving on Flatbush Avenue near East 53rd Street at around 8 p.m. Saturday, the sources said.

After being pulled over, she refused to give cops her license or registration, police sources said. She also allegedly balked at getting out of the vehicle.

She was charged with obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest and driving while using a mobile phone.

* A 47-year-old man pulled out a boxcutter on a crowded, southbound N train in Coney Island and waived the weapon in front of terrified passengers, sources said.

John Handy, who's originally from Indiana, allegedly flashed the blade at around 9:30 p.m. Friday.

He was arrested moments after exiting the train at Pacific Street and Fourth Avenue, the sources said.

* Police say a man raped one woman and molested another in Bushwick.

The man first tailed a 39-year-old woman walking on Woodbine Street at 1:15 a.m. Feb. 1, shoved her to the ground, grabbed her buttocks and breasts and then fled when the victim fought him off, according to police.

The same creep then placed an object against a 37-year-old woman's back at around 5 a.m. April 6, demanded cash and then raped her inside of a building, police said.

The man is believed to be in his 20s, about 5-foot-9 or 5-foot-10 and 165 pounds.

He was wearing a gray hoodie and black jeans.

Staten Island

* Police are investigating the death of a man found hanging inside a jail cell in St. George.

The victim, whose name was not released, had been taken into custody after a caller complained that the man had fallen asleep inside the El Tenampa Deli and Restaurant on Castleton Avenue at around 10:50 p.m. Thursday, police said.

The man was hit with a trespassing charge and placed inside a holding cell. He was found hanging from his belt at around 3:15 a.m. Friday, police said. The NYPD's Internal Affairs Bureau is investigating.

Manhattan

* A corrections officer was arrested for allegedly shoplifting at Macy's in Herald Square — three months after promising never to return when he was caught doing the same thing, sources said.

Michael Crowe, 48, was charged with stealing seven pieces of clothing worth $186 from a display case, hiding them and leaving, the sources said.

In January, the Northport, LI, man had signed a promise never to go on the store's property again after being caught allegedly taking $1,815 worth of clothing.

He was packing heat in both incidents, the sources added.

Crowe was charged with burglary for returning, as well as criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny, the sources said.
