What the Hall? Sele got 1 vote

Former Mets pitcher Aaron Sele received one vote in yesterday's Hall of Fame vote, sending shock waves through the baseball community.

Twitter exploded with questions demanding to know who would do such a thing. Deadspin put up a post asking for tips if anyone knew who was the rogue voter. He or she currently remains at large, and did not make their vote public.

"All HOF votes need to be public. The guy who voted for Aaron Sele should be made to explain himself," former "SportsCenter" host and current Diamondbacks play-by-play man Steve Berthiaume wrote.

"Baseball needs a Mitchell Report on which Hall of Fame voter wrote in Aaron Sele," tweeted Tremendo The Great.

Sele finished his career with a pedestrian 148-112 with a 4.61 ERA. He also finished his career in Flushing. In 2007, Sele pitched one season for the Mets going 3-2 with a 5.37 ERA as the team's long relief man.

Other Mets who were on that 2007 team who received votes: Julio Franco (six votes) and Shawn Green (two votes).
