MLB: Nats' Johnson to return for 1 more season

The Nationals are bringing back Davey Johnson for one more season as their manager. Johnson will move into a role as a consultant to the club in 2014. Johnson, 70, will be the oldest manager in the majors in 2013.

The Dodgers won the chance to sign pitcher Ryu Hyun-jin. The Hanwha Eagles of the Korea Baseball Organization accepted a posting fee of $25.7 million for the 25-year-old left-hander. .

The Red Sox signed 35-year-old catcher David Ross to a two-year, $6.2 million contract, according to FoxSports.com.

In Guadalajara, Mexico, Inbee Park shot a 6-under 66 to take a two-stroke lead over Cristie Kerr (67) into the final round of the Lorena Ochoa Invitational.

BOXING: Klitschko dominates taller Wach

In Hamburg, Germany, Wladimir Klitschko retained his WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight titles, unanimously outpointing 6-foot-7 1/2 Mariusz Wach of Poland (27-1, 15 KOs). The judges scored it 120-107, 120-107 and 119-109 for Klitschko, who improved to 59-3 (51 KOs).
