BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — Police in northern Ohio said they are investigating racist graffiti scrawled in chalk in front of the home of Bowling Green State's basketball coach Louis Orr.
Police said vandals wrote "white power" along with a swastika on the sidewalk in front of Orr's home over the weekend.
"I'm considering it to be an act of graffiti and vandalism," Bowling Green Police Lt. Brad Biller said. "I don't consider this a widespread problem in our community."
Orr, 54, who has a 76-82 record at Bowling Green, declined to comment through a university spokesman.
Orr, who starred as a player at Syracuse, played in the NBA for the Knicks from 1982-88 and later coached at Seton Hall from 2001-2006 after one year at Siena. His overall record is 176-162.
