One of the suspected ringleaders in the attack on the US Consulate in Libya that killed four Americans, including the ambassador, is living it up in Benghazi with no fear of arrest, despite President Obama's vow to bring him to justice.
Ahmed Abu Khattala was sitting on a crowded hotel patio and sipping mango juice yesterday when he mocked the thought of being nabbed.
He told a New York Times reporter the Libyan army is a "national chicken" and said US leaders were "using the consulate attack just to gather votes for the election."
Abu Khattala, yet to be questioned by any government, admitted to being on site during the Sept. 11 consulate attack. But he said he arrived after the gunfire started and entered the compound only at the end because he was looking to help rescue trapped Libyan guards.
